A document cannot exceed 25 MB. This limit keeps transfers reliable and decryption fast on your phone, where everything is decrypted in memory. Images are optimised when the document is assembled, so a document often holds far more than the raw weight of its files. For now the limit is set to 25 MB; it may change in the future - we are constantly working to optimise our systems.
