What you are installing
La Pochette files your paperwork: ID documents, invoices, prescriptions, rent receipts, contracts. Everything is encrypted on your phone and backed up continuously, with no one else able to read it.
Scan
Photograph a document: edges are detected, the image straightened and cleaned up. Several pages in a single document, or a PDF imported from your files.
Confirm the filing
The text is read on the device and never sent anywhere. The app suggests a category and a title; you confirm or correct it in one tap, and it remembers your corrections.
Find it again
Search covers the content of your documents, not just their names. A banner warns you when an ID card or an insurance policy is about to expire.

Frequently asked questions
Is the app free?
Yes. The free plan backs up 15 documents (40 MB) and includes every feature. Premium changes one thing only: backup goes up to 10 GB.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your documents are backed up encrypted. On the new phone, install the app and sign in: the key comes back from your iCloud or Google keychain, otherwise from the recovery key handed to you when you created your account, and the vault is restored.
Who can read my documents?
Only you. Every document is encrypted on the phone before it is uploaded: the server only ever receives unreadable files. No artificial intelligence, no third-party service sees the content, and we cannot open a vault. The details are on the Security page.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Scanning, text recognition, filing and search all work offline. The backup queues up and resumes as soon as the network is back.
Can I add a document from my computer?
Yes, from the Send to my phone page: the file is encrypted in the browser then handed to your phone, which alone files it in the vault. Nothing is readable along the way.
What data is collected?
An email address for the account, and nothing else: no phone number, no advertising, no tracker. See the privacy policy.
